Preschool Program

AT KIDS' CLUBHOUSE OF THE MAIN LINE

(age 3 by September 1st)

In our Preschool class students build their vocabulary by participating  in circle time and through whole class read-alouds.  Gross motor skills are developed through games and outdoor play in our fenced-in playground.  Fine motor skills are enhanced by stringing large beads, manipulating Play-Doh, and completing lacing projects.  Pretend play is encouraged in our dramatic play center.  Students learn to recognize their name in print, begin to write their name using the Handwriting Without Tears program, work on scissor skills, and more.  Concepts such as letters and letter sounds, numbers, colors, shapes, sorting, and other academics are introduced.

There is a 1:10 student-teacher ratio in this class.
